Ultrasonic Machining Modules are fully compatible with conventional CNC spindles and their automatic tool change systems. Our module allows a standard CNC machine to easily mill, drill, and grind advanced materials such as super-alloys, composites, ceramics, optical glass, and semiconductor materials. The ultrasonic machining process can improve chip removal, decrease cutting forces, and reduce cutting temperatures. The advantages of machining advanced materials include longer tool life, better surface finish, increased productivity, and a lower risk of chipping and micro-cracking.
